Transsion Holdings Conglomerate’s brand itel recently announced the successful sale of more than 1 million handsets within India. itel was operationally launched couple of months back and currently caters the Indian market with 15 products which includes eight feature phone and seven smartphones.
The feature phones from itel are available for as low as 2000 INR while the smartphones are available for less than 10000 INR. itel aims to target value conscious market.

itel also recently introduced King Voice on its smart keypad devices it5231 & it5320 which is an innovative text to speech stock application and works as personal interpreter. Feature like King Voice aims to bring mobile experience to those consumers who are yet to adopt digital technology.
Keeping in mind about the after sales service, itel is planning to open 1000 service centers across India by end of 2016 and currently offers a 100-day replacement warranty on all itel products.
Now since they have crossed the 1 million milestone, itel as part of their strategic expansion will cover the rest of the Indian Geographies where it is not present and targets 2 Million handsets sales per month by the Diwali 2016.
